In 2019, the Global Russia Program is partnering with the Davos Russia House to present a small group of emerging leaders and rising professionals from the United States with the opportunity to engage with the global elite on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.
High-ranking government officials, business executives, civil society activists, and celebrities from Russia and beyond will be at an arm's length as program participants attend expert panels, receptions, and private meetings, enhancing their knowledge on a wide range of issues.
Undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students as well as young professionals in fields including, but not limited to, Russian-area studies, business, law, journalism, public policy, and the social sciences, are invited to apply after carefully reviewing the information below.THE DATES:

The trip is estimated to cost around $2000-$2500 per person. Our estimate includes roundtrip airfare from the U.S., ground transportation in Switzerland, housing, and food for the week.
We will charge participants around $1000 (exact amount to be determined by December 28) to cover housing and ground transportation arrangements for the entire group. All other expenses, including flights, food, and miscellaneous purchases will be made by the participants directly.
Please note that we are currently unable to offer any financial assistance. We kindly request that only those able to afford this trip or find a sponsor, apply. Approved applicants will be required to confirm their participation and make the $1000 (estimate) payment no later than December 30.ITINERARY BREAKDOWN:
Participants will depart for Zurich on January 19.
Participants will arrive in Zurich on January 20, and take a 3-hour train ride from the airport to Scuol, a small town situated in a valley of the Swiss Alps, where our group will be residing in a private guest house.
For the next five days (January 21-25) our group will travel by train from Scuol to Davos for events at the Russia House. During these days participants will also have time to explore the picturesque beauty of the surrounding nature, hit the slopes, and enjoy the nightlife scene.
On January 26, participants will take the train from Scuol back to Zurich. Those with time might want to spend and extra day here since January 27 is a Sunday.IMPORTANT DATES: December 28:
